What this website collects, and what it does not.

The short version
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and shows no ads. It only sends data when you use Ask AI, play the video, or load the page itself.
Who we are
VirtualPyTest is an open source project, published at github.com/AngelStreetCorp/virtualpytest. For any question about your data, write to contact@virtualpytest.com.
Kept in your browser only
- Your theme (light or dark) and your language.
- Your Ask AI conversation, up to the last 40 messages, and the panel size.
- This stays on your device. Clear it with the bin icon in Ask AI, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Ask AI
When you ask a question, its text and your language go to our server at api.virtualpytest.com. An AI model writes the answer from the public VirtualPyTest documentation.
- We keep a log of questions to improve the answers: the question, the outcome, how long it took, the documents used, and a shortened hash of your IP address.
- Your IP address is also used for a short time to limit how many questions one visitor can send.
- Please do not type personal or confidential information into Ask AI.
Other services this page uses
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
- The video loads from YouTube in privacy enhanced mode, and only after you press play.
- Vercel hosts the website and keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and time of request.
- Links to GitHub, YouTube, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs and the live lab open services with their own privacy policies.
The live lab
The live lab at virtualpytest.angelstreet.io is a separate application. Signing in there is covered by that application, not by this page.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at contact@virtualpytest.com. Ask AI log entries only hold a shortened hash of an IP address, so tell us the question you asked to help us find it.
